Delete an image in HTMLEditor does not release memory taken
Hi,
Good day. I have been using TEmbeddedWB as my HTMLEditor for quite some time. Recently my users complained that after inserting an image, then removing the image did not free up the memory allocated. They found this by comparing to Windows Live Writer's HTML Editor. May I know if I hae been missing some important steps in setting up the HTMLEditor? Thanks in advance. |

I am also using TEmbeddedWB as my HTMLEditor, But can 't face this problem with me. I was also insert an image then removed the image for space, after reading your post. And image also free up the memory allocation.

Sorry, I forgot to mention that, you got to resize your image first, then delete it. And you will notice that the memory is not freed up. |

In TEmbeddedWB editor, you have to resize the image and then delete it. It will also free up the allocated memory space.

But my test with the simple demo is right to the contrary. If you don't resize, then delete the image, the memory will be freed. Anyhow, after resizing the image, then delete it, the memory remains.
